Anyone ever made a camshaft?

How would one make camshaft lobes on manual machine tools? I don't have a cam grinder. I do have a mill, lathe, metal shaper and all the usual accessories. Could it be done on a lathe with a tool post grinder????? This is a job I have never tried before and it needs to be done. 11-05-2015, 04:57 PM #2.
