Is it possible to stretch 3D Solids

I do not know of any way to do it in AutoCAD. You can write the code to do it yourself or buy an add-on. We use an add-on for ours called Smart Modeling from Milllister. It stretches solids very well. If you need to stretch alot of solids I would check it out.

Subtract without unioning?

Does anyone know of a way to keep 2 separate solids from becoming unioned when a common solid is subtracted from both of them at the same time? Simple Example: 2 solids that represent 2 flanges that are to have, say, a screw hole that lines up perfectly from one part to the other. Obvious solution: subtract a single cylinder that passes thru. both.

Ok its me again. I was wondering if there is anyway to rotate in object in one plane by a number of degrees and in another plane by anohte number of degrees in the same command. Like if I want something rotated 35 dg in the XY plane and 45 dg in the YZ plane. Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Excel into AutoCad

Has anyone found a way to import large spreadsheets into ACAD? I would like to be able to modify this and reflect it in ACAD. Our current way gives us text and lines in ACAD, but it takes forever to do. (copy from excel, paste special in ACAD, select product entities) I would be happy with linked files or AutoCAD objects. Any ideas?

Then try making a new drawing and inserting it in it as a block. It sounds like the database is currupted. Also make sure you hard drive is not full and you pagefile.sys is at least 1 gig.
